As the Garage Door Doctor, I meet new and interesting people on a daily basis and I am often surprised with how many long lasting friendships have developed through garage door service calls. I suppose that it’s just being a part of a wonderful community. Through these friendships I have had the opportunity to contribute to several community-based organizations and hope that maybe you can to.

Charlotte Checkers Hockey Team

The Charlotte Checkers, an affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes, are an American Hockey League ice hockey team located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Alexander Youth Network

Alexander Youth Network is North Carolina’s leading provider of children’s behavioral healthcare. Alexander provides a comprehensive array of services developed to treat children with, or at risk for, serious emotional disturbance, and serves over 2,700 children each year.

Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte

Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte has been a leader in the fight for equitable housing in the Charlotte community for over 25 years. In that time, more than 22,000 constituents have partnered with Habitat Charlotte to build and finance homes for low-income families in the Charlotte community.

Jake Pritchard

Jake Pritchard was recently diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), the most common fatal genetic disorder among children. To date, there is no cure. DMD is 100% fatal. Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. AA’s primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety
